Auction Bidding Guidelines and Conditions

All interested and prospective bidders must register to bid
1. Please read each individual auction lot descriptions and terms and conditions before bidding.

2. All winning bids and final and represent a legally binding contract.

3. 'Twycle Britain' is not responsible or liable in any way for the auction lots and each has been donated by a seperate individual or company. Buyers must satisfy themselves as to all matters referred to in each lot description and entry by inspection or other enquiry prior to the date of the auction.

4. At exactly 16:00 hours (4pm), Friday 21st May 2010 GMT, the auction will close and not receive further bids. If yours is the highest bid, you have entered a legally binding agreement to pay for that lot. 

5. In the eventuality of two matching bids being offered for a lot, the earlier placed bid takes precedent. A full bid history will be maintained by the twycle team to refer to in the event of a dispute.

6. On completion of the auction, the winning bidder will be emailed by Twycle Britain with a link to the "Twycle Britain Just Giving page", where payment is made directly into the charity. This must be done by 5pm GMT Mon 24th May 2010, after that we reserve the right to nullify your bid (we will inform you by email) and we will award the lot to the next highest bidder. When making payment on the Just Giving TwycleBritain page you need to mention the lot number you are donating for in the comments or within your name to enable us to identify that you have made the donation.

7. Once your payment has been received, you will be emailed with the contact details/ instructions relating to your purchase. It is then up to you to make contact/ bookings/ arrangements with the respective auction prize donor (full contact details will be supplied.

8. The Auctioneer (Twycle Britain) has the right at its absolute discretion to refuse any bid, to advance the bidding as it may decide, to withdraw or divide any Lot, to combine any two more more Lots and in the case of dispute to put any Lot for auction again.

9. All sales are subject to the conditions published for this catalogue.

10. Winners travel to any of the Lot venues is to be made at their own cost

11. No cash alternative may be taken on a winning bid

12. When you bid, that amount will be used in full against that lot, we will not be taking maximum bids and increasing your bid by proxy in increments.

REGISTRATION DETAILS:
We require all potential bidders to register their details with us. All details are confidential and will not be disclosed or shared with third parties. The Twyclebritain office HQ is kindly provided by DealDrivers Ltd, 1 Templar Mews, Blackjack Street, Cirencester. Your Bid ID will be sent to you by the TwycleBritain team there. Your contact details will be destroyed once the auction is ended on 21st May and will not be used for any other purpose than the TwycleBritain Auction

All potential bidders must be a minimum of 18 years old, provide name, address and phone number. You will also be asked for a password which we can link to your Bid ID number, to enable us to check the correct bidder is using the Bid ID number allocated uniquely to yourself. 

All winning bids MUST BE SETTLED through the TwycleBritain Just Giving page and therefore can only be settled with a valid debit or credit card via the JustGiving website. PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU CANNOT COMPLY WITH THIS OR ANY OTHER CONDITION MENTIONED.
